ICE #1 (2026) 'Creeping in Silence'. The first painting in a series of six exploring the slow withdrawal of glacial ice in an age of human influence and climate change.
Layers of deep blue, teal, aqua and turquoise are combined with made and found collage elements, pastel and ink wash to create a richly textured meditation on a landscape in transition.
The complete series of six paintings will be completed by September 2026. Some of these works will be available to view at The North Street Gallery, Bristol from 01/07/26
