This is a piece inspired by John Milton's epic poem, Paradise Lost. Here the piece depicts a fallen angel, who has landed in a place with no light as even the fires in hell are dark.
Cast out away from all he held dear, he must now face eternity living with this fate. This is a piece about the futility and brutality of war, and the misplacement of peoples due to conflict.
