Shimmering creek, Scott's Quay

£ 595.00

Scott’s Quay is a magical creek of the Helford River, set down from the village of Constantine. At low tide the mud glistens in the sunshine, and birds of all kinds come down to feed and wade. You often hear curlews overhead, and elegant grey herons stand aloof on the opposite shore. This painting uses the textures of cold wax medium with the oil paint to create a sense of the Helford mud and its patterns, and the river glistens white in the overhead sun. This is framed in a beautiful off black moat frame which really sets of the vivid greens and sparkling light on the water.

The price includes a beautiful off black hand made moat frame. The outer dimensions included the frame are 46.5cm x 56.5cm.

This painting is also available with its sister painting "Secluded mooring, Scott's Quay" for a special price of £645 for the two.
