The lilac sea (the darkest hour is just before dawn)

£ 695.00

This is a painting inspired by a scene very close to home where you get a glimpse down a farm track of the mouth of the Helford. One winter morning the sunrise was spectacular reds and corals, and the sea below glowed a beautiful lilac. The subtitle to this is “the darkest hour is just before dawn” – that period just before the sun breaks through and it can feel like the dead of night. This painting is almost like travelling in time from the starry night sky to that first burst of sunlight on the horizon.

Price includes framing in a simple white wood tray frame
