Working on my favourite Arches Huile paper today. Back to some pieces from a few weeks ago. This morning's dog walk at Scott's Quay was an abundance of autumn glory. It was worth celebrating. I love how the luminosity of the Helford pokes through the branches, little glimpses of the water through the intricate branches that weave their patterns through the air as though dancing in the fire if the bracken. It is my favourite season.
Oil and cold wax on Arches Huile Paper permanently fixed to a cradled board and framed in a white wood St Ives moat frame of 8cm width.
This painting has been selected and will be on show and available to purchase as part of the Poly Falmouth's Members Summer 2024 show starting 3 September until 21 September 10am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday
