Durgan in the half light

I have really enjoying

building up the textures and layers on this. I am painting this alongside my

"Light fantastic" works on paper collection. There is a particular

feel I want to capture of Durgan before the sun is up. Everything is muted but

there are fabulous hues in the shadows and rocks. I love this view from high up

on the coastal road, peering down through the hedgerow on this timeless scene.
