Pink river, orange dusk

Another Bar Beach sunset. On this particularly evening the sky was a beautiful deep pink purple, and the incoming tide created perfect curving waves. This was painted on a very bright orange ground and flashes can be seen between the brushstrokes which create a charged energy. This was framed in a stunning black moat frame which perfectly set off the dusky moody atmosphere of this piece.
