Moody blues

This is the view from Cow Beach, just round the corner from the mouth of the Helford, looking across to Nare Point. This was inspired by a breezy, stormy day, with the clouds scudding overhead and the water a steely moody blue. I used the cold wax to accenturate the textures on the beach of the shingle and copper seaweed, and multiple glazes to build up the variety of blues and greys in the sea and sky.
