The dance of the Nerine

The title of this painting comes from the movement of these beautiful Guernsey Lilies in the breeze, as their curling petals sway. I love the intensity of the pink. This started as a plein air painting in my garden, with multiple blooms and more green leaves, but I took it inside the studio and wanted to create a much more dramatic effect, almost firework like, to focus on the pink and the movement. 

Comes ready framed in a white painted tray wood frame with a shadow gap.
