Verbena lights

The third of a 40 x 40 canvas on the Abstract Flower theme.

I am always amazed at the intensity of the lilac colour of Verbena Bonariensis,

beautiful tiny flowers that mass together to form luminous purple clouds. In

these abstract flower paintings I am trying to capture the essence of the

plant, what I love about their colour, shape, movement and the light around

them. There is so much inspiration in the garden, much more to come.
