Bloom - Limited Edition Giclee Print (25 available)

This is a new professional fine art giclee print of my original painting "Tangerine Trees". It is printed on archive quality HahneMuhle Matt Fine Art smooth 310gsm Photo Rag paper. This is guaranteed for at least 125 years. Each print is individually numbered and embossed with a special artist signature stamp. The print image is 50 x 50cm plus a white border of 3cm all round.

This print will only be available for an edition run of 25, and its sister painting, "Cheer" is also available as a Limited Edition print.

The images shown here are of the original framed paintings. These prints are supplied unframed, wrapped in acid free paper and delivered in a large protective cardboard tube.

About the original painting

The power of pink. This is a garden inspired painting, capturing the low sun on an autumn morning as it sparkles through the glowing embers of blooms, fringed pink in the light. Pink roses, pink peonies, exuberant with life. It is my favourite time of year and my garden is one of my happiest places. The word “bloom” suggests life, potential, emerging shoots. Soft grey green foliage offset the flower heads. I am intrigued by flower paintings, how to bring an abstract sensibility and raw energy to a subject which can easily become stereotypical. A theme I will be exploring much more. The painting is built up of many layers of paint mixed with cold wax, intense hues then knocked back, a tapestry of colour and texture.
