Phil Willis’s work is influenced by the sea and nature.

Reflecting the landscapes of his surf break in Cornwall alongside his experiences and impressions of a lifetime spent surfing around the world.

Using his art as a vehicle to express his feelings and emotions, a balance between light and dark, creating visions through the eyes of a surfer. This love of coastal colour tones and movement form his signature style. Each piece is spontaneous and originated in his studio at East Quay in Hayle. Looking out across the harbour to the Cornish waters that inspire and dictate his work
