ESSEX TYLER - DIRECTOR

Essex has lived and worked in Mousehole and Newlyn all his life. From working as a deep sea fishermen in Newlyn he maintained his study of pottery and continued at Falmouth College. Subsequently Essex opened his own pottery in Newlyn and continued to develop his pottery alongside a growing community of like minded creatives. The Tyler Gallery in Mousehole opened sixteen years ago. The Gallery has built up one of the most respected and formidable stable of artists and thrives as the go to place for the best contemporary art available in Cornwall today.

Manager of Global Sales and Marketing at The Tyler Gallery, Flick’s love of Cornish art and the local area is obvious. Coming from an artistic family and having achieved an MA in Ancient History, Flick brings a wealth of talent to the gallery and is a highly motivated member of the team.
