ICE edition (2026)
Coming soon.
Currently in various stages of completion in my studio. Six paintings in electric blues and turquoises, ice and water in their most abstract vibrancy.
‘Ice’ is a series shaped by premature fracture, drift and retreat.
Inspired by aerial views of melting sea ice and shifting glacial surfaces, the work explores the quiet violence of environmental change - not through spectacle, but through texture, absence and separation. Cracks widen. Forms disconnect. Once-solid landscapes begin to loosen into uncertainty.
Built through layered paint, collage and physical abrasion, the paintings move between beauty and discomfort: deep indigos and frozen blues carrying the suggestion of oceans, pressure, depth and loss.
At its core, ‘Ice’ will not simply about climate. It will be about fragility. About the moment something ancient begins to give way beneath us, slowly enough to ignore, but fast enough to change everything.
