This is one in a series of 6 small paintings on deep cradled wooden boards. The paintings are unframed but can be wall hung or stand alone on a shelf.
The series is inspired by underwater photography of candy-coloured seaweeds floating in aqua seas. They have an etheral quality emphasised by floaty mark-making and contrasting areas of matte and gloss varnish.
