A joyful,

melodic painting on Arches Huile paper, which is gorgeous to paint on as it

soaks in the initial colour layer and you can scratch or wipe back to that.

This painting started with a bright pink ground and traces shine through in

the highlights. This is a semi abstract view of the Helford River mouth, on a

summer morning as the sun is rising and the smell of flowers hangs in the

air. It is a very happy piece and I love looking at it.
