I am surrounded by the beautiful coastal landscape of North Cornwall. As I walk on the beach or coastpath, I look, gather and hold – pebbles, shells, bits of driftwood or seaweed seem to magically find their way back to the studio with me. These ‘tiny treasures’ are my ongoing inspiration.
Working with different media, and following what interests me, I make images about these things I love.
I have been studying at Newlyn School of Art over the last several years, completing two years of intensive professional practice development in June 2023.
I am co-founder of Prime Women Artists – an informal network for women artists practicing in Cornwall. Our aims are to encourage, empower and support women artists, to enable collaboration, exploration and shared learning.
