I have long been an admirer of the underwater photography of Nicola Miskin who captures the most beautiful images of carnival coloured seaweed in Jersey where she lives. Stunning colours, ethereal floating shapes drift and dance in bluest water. With her permission I have been making small abstract paintings responding to her work.
Acrylic paint and ink on deep cradled wooden panels. These are sturdy enough to stand on a shelf or can be hung on the wall.
