My Helford River- new collection

This is a brand new collection of paintings, started in January 2026, working from the original gouache paintings in my sketchbook. Scaled up in acrylics and focusing on the freshness and looseness of the plein air pieces, done at a larger scale. Focussing on colour, mark making and capturing a sense of place and time. Painted on 360gm Clairefontaine Special paper bonded to primed boards and finished with cold wax. All framed in a white wood slab frame.
